Week 22: May 27 - June 2
« on: May 26, 2018, 05:13:44 PM »
Hello, everyone!

Please, answer the following questions to help 1) you set and focus on your goals and 2) provide information so others can help with accountability/motivation.
Your answers can have as little or as much details as you want to share.

  • What were last week's goals?
  • How did they go?
  • What are your goals for this week?
  • How productive was last week? (Scale: 1-7. 1 = minimal/not-at-all; 7 = maximum/Master Productivity)
  • Could anything be done be more productive/efficient?
  • How would you rate your wellbeing? (Scale: 1-7. 1 = lowest point, 7=highest point)
  • What would have made it better?
  • Any additional comments?

NOTE:
"Last week" indicates May 20 - May 26.
"This week" indicates May 27 - June 2.

What were last week's goals?
  • Finish Terms of Use
  • Continue cleaning house. Focus on restoring "junk room" into a proper room and surface area of furniture.
  • Write my own story
  • Restore healthy sleep pattern.
  • Complete basics of digital drawing (small details added at later date).
  • Continue various "adult responsibility" communications and personal socialization.

How did they go
  • Finally finished the terms of use...for that particular interest.
  • Joined two cleaning challenges from "Slobs Anonymous" guild on Habitica. The challenges seem to help me (I am noticing improvements and it's not getting as dirty as quickly), but I have not done any of what I wanted to focus on... I did dust.
  • Wrote for my story; still a long way to go to reach "acceptable to call a rough draft"
  • I'm still fighting off sleep instead of accepting it more than not.
  • Digital drawing was completed.
  • Done; more added to it. Continue.

Goal(s) for this week
  • Smock (a.k.a. smach)

Productivity level: 4
Most of what was done was on "busy" days. Spent the remainder mainly day-dreaming about getting stuff done (or dreading getting stuff done.)

How can I be more efficient?
Focus.

How would I rate my well-being? 4 (No plans to elaborate).

What would have made it better?
For me to know and do what I can about it.

Additional comments?
To create a real feeling of accountability, perhaps we could periodically ask how a person is doing in their goals before the reporting-time, some way?

What were last week's goals?

Try and finish last week's lab work, and any more assigned this week.
Make Dry Shampoo for a friend who is paying me to do so.
Various Tiny Chores
Aim for an additional 30 hours of paying work this week, minimum 15.
Ironing & Laundry MUST BE DONE THIS WEEK. (Finishing ALL of it is the only good reason to be minimal w/prior task.)
5 or 6 smallish sewing / knitting projects
Some additional sweeping / maintenance vacuuming

On Hold:
Big cleaning project
Personal Project Related Audio Editing
Roomba repair

How did they go?

Got all of last week's lab work done, and half of this weeks, need to do the rest tonight(?), Will probably only get 4 hrs sleep.
Got over halfway through the dry shampoo project.
Half of the tiny chores got done? Ish?
No additional paying work got done, but I have a schedule drawn up to solve it a bit.
No more ironing got done, but about half the laundry or so got done.
No sewing or knitting got done.
No additional other cleaning got done, or audio editing, etc.

What are your goals for this week?

3 more hours of lab work tonight or tomorrow morning.
Finish dry shampoo.
Tiny chores.
25 more hours of paying work, minimum 19.
Ironing MUST be done, some more laundry should be.
Sewing and knitting and whatnot.
Additional floor cleaning / vacuuming.
Tried to schedule personal project audio editing.

On Hold:
Big cleaning project

How productive was last week? (Scale: 1-7. 1 = minimal/not-at-all; 7 = maximum/Master Productivity)

4 to 5 - got some stuff done, not as much as I'd have liked, but got a good foundation for more productivity this coming week, as an experiment.

Could anything be done be more productive/efficient?

Set a schedule that will also give a little time to stuff that winds up on the back burner. There's a little time for almost everything. Hopefully that will help my anxiety and let me focus on whatever I'm needing to do at that moment.

How would you rate your wellbeing? (Scale: 1-7. 1 = lowest point, 7=highest point)

3 - Breathing was awful. Mental health was worse. My OCD is absolutely running away with me.

What would have made it better?

I need to stand up for myself and say no to some of the things others ask of me during the few functional hours I have.

Any additional comments?

Got a late start for my Monday. That's no good. Cut most of my break time out, will try to show myself some "tough love" for this one, at least for a few hours here. Not my normal approach, but my normal ain't working.
